Requirements

Before you download plug-in files make sure you have Java 1.5.0 and Eclipse 3.2 installed. Moreover, to run UI Diagram, you will need to update your Eclipse with GMF 1.0.

Download a plug-in

To download released files for Istar plug-in please visit Download Files section on project's page hosted on SourceForge.net or simply click here. However, project's files realeses on SourceForge.net are not as up-to-date as the ones available via Update Site.

Update Site

The most natural way of instaling any Eclipse plug-in is usage of the Update Site feature. At this moment there are two update sites available. First one contains features from the main branch. However, this branch is no longer supported, except bug fixes. Second branch, GMF, contains the most update releases of UI Diagram features.

Example showing how to create new remote site:

Help
   > Software Updates
      > Find and Install...
         > Search for new features to install
            > New Remote Site...
               * Name: Istar Update Site
               * URL: http://istar-uidiagram.sourceforge.net/updatesite/site.xml
               * URL (for GMF version): http://istar-uidiagram.sourceforge.net/updatesite.gmf/site.xml
